Wei Wah is a passionate trainee counsellor that believes mental health is equally as important as physical health. He trusts that everyone has the tools and skills to overcome challenges in their life. He is dedicated to providing a non-judgmental, safe and collaborative space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions and beliefs. He emphasizes the importance of collaboration in the therapeutic relationship and that everyone inherently wants to be the best version of themselves.

Wei Wah has worked with population such as tertiary students, young adults, working adults, families and couples, which demonstrated his flexibility in adjusting and customizing his approach to each client. He has worked with individual clients on issues such as social anxiety, break ups, career direction, personal development, academic concerns and life stress. He also worked with couples on issues such as communication, financial issues and sexual concerns.

Wei Wah uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) in helping his clients. His approach encompasses empathetic listening, unconditional positive regard and a collaborative style to create a safe space for his clients. Through this process, Wei Wah help his clients to gain a better understanding of the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviors and beliefs to gain new perspective and empower clients to overcome challenges in life.
